Miranda July Project

 

This is my rendition of Miranda July's Man on the Stairs story. In my version, I have a male lead whom is more curious to see who is coming upstairs. It is quite a short video but the frames took longer to edit. I am not quite familiar with the Adobe Premiere Pro software so I had troubles trying to have it transition quicker. Overall I enjoyed Miranda July and her stories and was honored in having a hand in creating on of her apparent popular story. 

  

This is the music I used on my Project. I thought it would add a bit of mystery as well as a horror aspect to the video. I think it adds a bit of intensity to the video as it continue to transition.

Video Art Reenactments

I saw Yvonne Rainer's Hand movie and thought it would be a very interesting video to remake. During that time she was in the hospital and yet she was still performing. I figured I would remake her video in my own style. I had my hand model recreate Yvonne's hand movements for the first minute then on the second minute, I had her do modern quotidian movements to show some of the gestures we use today. I also added music to the video because I felt the emotions would be brought out further with a classical rendition.
